WORK EXPERIENCE IN HOTEL,​ SERVICE & HOSPITALITY​

Familiar surroundings and big offices aren’t your dream workplace? Do you get bored sitting at your desk for too long, staring at a computer screen? Whether you’re looking for an internship, a volunteering, a gap year, a semester abroad or “just for fun” – working in Swedish Lapland will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience and an unique highlight on your CV.

You should be a well-communicative team player, who enjoys working with people in a service-oriented enviroment and is able to work independently. In addition, you should be fluent in English (German is a big plus but not necessary!) in order to communicate effectively with both our team and guests. If you are also motivated, flexible, open-minded and ideally already have some experience in hotel/service/hospitality, we would be more than happy to welcome you to our team!

We need helping hands from mid-December 2025 (including Christmas and New Year's Eve) until end of March 2026. A minimum stay of 4 weeks is required. We are especially looking for regular support in the areas of: service, restaurant, kitchen, catering, housekeeping and more. You are welcome to join our team as part of a practical semester, a compulsory internship or as a voluntary internship (max. 3 months). We also encourage young people in orientation phase or students preparing for their bachelor degree to apply.

• Helping with preparations and maintainance of the various buffets (e.g. breakfast buffet, lunch buffet, special evening buffets)
• Supporting kitchen with all types of food serving (e.g. cartering, lunch boxes, conference meals) or chopping duty
• Providing hospitality service at the reception for guests from various backgrounds (e.g. automotive industry, driving experience, leisure travelers)
• Offering a flexible, helping hand whereever and whenever needed across departments (e.g. janitors, housekeeping, reception)

• Free board and lodging during your period of employment at Hotel Laponia
• Appropriate staff clothing (provided on loan) for working hours
• Free arrival and return flights within Europe (cheapest available option based on travel dates)
