Paid Internship for Technical Support in California

The Company

Our company is about 3 years old and we are a Marketing and Technology company focusing on Local and National business solutions. We provide a great deal of hands-on training. These positions are excellent for ones who have the education and desire and would like to get more on the job training. We do extensive market research, market testing, product development, advertising and fine tuning of a variety of different products for our customers. All of the technology and marketing happens behind the scenes and what we offer to our clients is to launching their product on a nation-wide basis, reaching a high volume of customers and increasing their sales. We are planning to extend our services to Canada, UK, Ireland, Scotland, France, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Spain and Italy within the next 12 months. 

Our office is located in Lafayette, California about 30 minutes from San Francisco. 

The Intern

We are looking for an organized, honest, professional, detail-oriented, self-starter with excellent PC skills to assist in Provisioning, Support, Testing and Quality Control of our telecommunication based products and services. If you have the propensity and desire, we will provide the necessary training to advance this individual in the technology and telecommunications fields. 

Your Responsibilities

• Primary responsibilities include provisioning of customer accounts, quality control and responding to critical production events 
• Interact with Customer Service, Implementations, Quality Assurance, Client Relations § Issues Analysis and configuration settings in order to solve implementation and customer care issues
• Recommendations of actions to improve production conditions
• Participation in product deployment
• Gaining a variety of skills and product knowledge 

Your Qualifications

• extremely Organized and Detail Oriented
• strong Customer Service Background
• must have excellent PC knowledge
• proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• knowledge of database concepts specifically MS Access is highly desirable
• knowledge of networking is desirable
• must have excellent oral and written communication skills
• self-motivated and creative
• knowledge of Telecommunications concepts is desirable
• patient and detail oriented
