Trainee Recruitment Consultant (2 positions)

These placement opportunities will be particularly interesting to candidates with an interest in Sales who may be considering a future career in the recruitment industry. This is a professional sales role and is predominantly telephone based. Reporting to the Senior Consultant, tasks and responsibilities include the following;

• To develop relationships with new clients and selling IT recruitment solutions.
• To acquire vacancies, source suitable applicants and utilize closing skills to secure placements in a competitive market place.
• In summary, the role involves selling applicants to clients and clients to applicants.
• The working day will be busy, fast moving and dynamic and will undoubtedly require juggling a variety of tasks at the same time.
• Hours of work will 8.00am – 5.00pm, Mon – Fri.
• Full training and support will be given

Essential requirements:

• Excellent spoken & written English
• Successful sales experience (preferable business to business)
• Self-motivation, will to succeed, vast amounts of drive, enthusiasm and self-belief.
• Ability to be persuasive and sell in a consultative manner.
• Professional telephone manner
• Good at building rapport and developing fruitful long-term relationships.
• Good negotiation skills.
• Commercial awareness - able to identify and capitalise on sales opportunities.
• Able to work under pressure, handle the substantial flow of information involved in recruitment and prioritise your time accordingly

Desirable attributes:

• Knowledge of IT

• The Company has achieved 100% growth year on year. This includes filling both permanent and contract positions and creating constant levels of repeat business from their clients.
• They currently have 23 employees and are looking to expand into Europe starting with Holland.

• Based on Birchwood Business Park which is 3 miles from the town of Warrington.
• Warrington is 15 miles from both Manchester and Liverpool – which are two of the largest cities in the UK and are easily commutable to Birchwood on a daily basis. Remuneration details:
A training allowance of £600 per month will be provided to assist with accommodation and subsistence costs.

This remuneration package is not negotiable under ANY circumstances.
