Sales & Marketing Assistant

This company is the European leader in online RSS advertising, representing a number of renowned publishers in the UK, France & Germany. (BBC, Guardian, Le Monde)

They are currently recruiting interns to assist their media sales executives whose primary remit is be to develop new business whilst managing and growing our existing.

This is a team role reporting directly to the sales executive and into both the Publishing and Sales Directors. The ideal candidates will be a forward thinker, adaptable and proactive to developing market trends. You will thrive in a fast-paced, always changing market place and have the drive to exceed all expectations.

Essential requirements:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent German skills
• Experience of cold calling, presenting and selling to both advertising agencies and clients alike
• Studying for a business or IT degree
• Initiative, enthusiasm
• Computer literacy
• Confidence

Desirable attributes:

• Previous commercial telephone experience preferred

Company activity:

• The company specialises in a range of products to publish, measure, read and generate revenue from RSS feeds.
• Their system provides the most comprehensive RSS statistics available. This allows their customers to not only can you see how many times their feed is consumed, but also track how many people click through from their news items and which items generate the most visits to your site.
• Their Ad Placer solution allows customers to generate revenue from their RSS feeds by inserting adverts. Adverts are supplied by the companies Ad Network or by using client’s own choice of advertisers and ad-serving technologies.
• An online, browser based RSS publishing tool for enterprise use providing unlimited feeds and news items. News items can be added with a future activation date and set to require management approval.
• Companies who already have a subscriber newsletter simply add their bureau's email address to their database and their experienced RSS professionals will translate the client’s news items into one or more RSS feeds.

Location:

• Based in office in Central London.
• Close to all the amenities that you would expect from a capital city.

Remuneration details:

Allowance of £700 a month will be provided to assist with accommodation and subsistence costs.

This remuneration package is not negotiable under ANY circumstances.
