Sales Executive

You will be working closely with the Managing Director in helping to develop and follow up enquiries and leads. Your role will be critical in the success of the Sales department and you will be required to be proactive and an independent thinker in your approach.Full training is provided on the latest technologies available to the industry. This is a REAL JOB where you will gain REAL EXPERIENCE with REAL, SUCCESSFUL MANAGEMENT. The elements of the role will be:

Developing and following up enquiries and leads.

Liaising and communicating with our clients regarding projects that have in progress with us and informing them about the latest developments

Liaising between the merchandising and the procurement departments

Estimating the clients needs

Preparing the paperwork for the quotes

Researching products and material for quotes

Telephone and email contact with clients and other departments on a regular basis to ensure projects run smoothly and there will be a requirement to manage your time effectively and ensure that all incoming enquiries are dealt with promptly and effectively

We are a new company that has been formed by the Managing Director in response to the needs of the industry. It is an excellent time to be involved and have a direct impact on the business and implement your ideas and solutions.

The successful candidate will work in a relaxed semi-formal office environment, Monday to Friday, 9.00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.



As a student you will have an excellent opportunity to learn the essential tools of business and business development and experience for yourself how your activities can effect the bottom line results. We have installed the latest tools to make you time efficient, but you will also learn skills of time and task management.You will be trained and supported throughout and the small size of our company allows you to have a direct influence on the day to day decisions in your area of work.

Essential requirements:



Fluent spoken and written English

3rd year of study or above in a business degree

A strong ability to work professionally, quickly and accurately under pressure

An ability to work on your own and as part of a team you will be given guidance and support but will be required to think on your own.

Desire and passion to do the best and be the best

This is not a position for those that dont want to learn or get involved, this is a position for those who want to progress and become better.

Desirable attributes:



Previous experience in a telesales or other customer facing role would be an advantage.

Location:



The company is based, in new modern offices, in Slough, Berkshire.

It is home to the Slough Trading Estate, the United Kingdom's first such estate, the largest in single ownership, and one of the largest in Europe overall. This, coupled with extensive transport links, makes it one of the most important business centres in the south east of England. It is also home to the largest campus of Thames Valley University.

The town is situated just to the west of Greater London. Proximate towns include Windsor to the south, Maidenhead to the west, Uxbridge to the northeast and Bracknell to the southwest.

Excellent links to London (travel time by train 30 mins) and Reading (20 mins).

Remuneration details:



Accommodation will be provided. Transport to and from work daily will also be provided. In addition the company will pay an allowance of £50 per week to cover subsistence.

The company also employs an Earn While You Learn� policy where bonuses are also paid on ALL orders closed, as well as weekly and monthly additional bonuses.



This remuneration package is not negotiable under ANY circumstances.
