Community Build & Knowledge Development Manager

This is a great placement opportunity to join a committed team of similarly qualified individuals from a variety of different countries and cultures. You will be based at the Company’s Headquarters. You will be expected to meet deadlines, and contribute to departmental meetings, but at the same time will be given the freedom to work without constant supervision and bring your own ideas to the role. As an integral part of the products continuous improvement your views on new areas that could be researched will be taken into account, giving you a direct say in the overall development of the system. Also based at the head office, are members of software development, marketing, and senior management teams, all of which understand and recognise the importance of your role, thus providing you with a wealth of experience and expertise to call on for support in performing your duties.

Your main focus will be on the maintenance of the business processes knowledgebase, and future development of the user community;

• Fully evaluating and describing business processes.
• Identifying and describing financial performance improvement solutions for each process.
• Ensuring the accurateness and completeness of the knowledgebase.
• Supporting the development and implementation of the community build programme.
• Researching and engaging suppliers who can provide the goods and services consumed by each process.
• Create and implement strategies for the further development of the Cost Management Video and article library.
• Hours of work 9.00am – 5.00pm, Mon – Fri.

Essential requirements:
As a minimum, you must have:

• Fluent English – written & spoken
• Highly analytical, with the ability to research and solve a problem.
• Proactive, ready to learn and inquisitive.
• Ambitious and career focussed.
• Able to work as part of a team, without the need for constant supervision.
• Able to commit a minimum of 12 months to the placement.
• Should be studying for a BA/BSC/MBA/MSC in any of the following disciplines:

Business Studies, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Economics, Accounting & Finance.

Desirable attributes:
• Experience of a research based role would be advantageous, but is not essential.

Instead it provided consulting solutions that improved financial performance through a broad range of techniques implemented across the client's business processes.
• The Company’s mission is to create the definitive online performance improvement knowledge system and to make it freely available to their consultants and customers.

Location:

• The Company headquarters are based in the village of Ombersley, on the outskirts of the city of Worcester and close to the town of Droitwich.
• Located in the heart of the Midlands, Worcester has excellent access from all directions, and offers all of the typical facilities of a modern city.
• Ombersley itself has few such facilities, although there is a small selection of shops, and the village is only a short drive away from Worcester city centre.
• Good road and rail links provide easy access to Birmingham and London.

Remuneration details:

• Allowance of £575 a month will be provided to assist with accommodation and subsistence costs.

This remuneration package is not negotiable under ANY circumstances.
