Business Development Assistant

A stimulating placement opportunity with a global player in its field. Based on the company guidelines set for 2008, the trainee will help improve the in- depth knowledge of the Companys key markets (Cargo, Rail, Media, Hotels, Tour , Cruise, Ferry).In parallel, the Business Development Assistant� will support the Marketing Manager & VP Sales in growing the pipeline of potential prospects to help conduct highly efficient marketing campaigns utilising this prospect database. Tasks and responsibilities will include:



Assist the Business Development Manager to create in-depth analysis and business plans based on economic and business information from a variety of sources (departmental and division management, internet, economic studies and documentation, etc.)

Assist the Marketing Manager in co-ordinating the 12 marketing campaigns targeted for 2009

Investigate the company structures of potential customers

Assist in implementing clear guidelines and reporting for the newly installed sales software

Assist in monitoring the systematic usage of that software.

Hours of work 9am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday

Essential requirements:



Fluent written and spoken English

Strong German language skills

Currently undertaking a University degree in Marketing and/or Business and Communications

Very good communicative skills

Efficient & effective

Very good PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

The Company, with over 1.700 employees, is looking for a trainee in its Service Industries department.

Their goal is to help travel, media and transportation companies optimizing their revenue through the implementation of sophisticated revenue management software solutions. Customers such as TUI, Eurostar, Delta Airlines, Carlsson Hotels, etc. saw their revenues increase by using our solutions.

They are focused on helping companies realize real supply chain and revenue management results. Through its industry leading solutions, leading manufacturers, distributors, retailers, and services companies around the world are growing their businesses with greater predictability and more profitably

Based in Bracknell, Berkshire situated to the west of London.

Bracknell is a large town with many attractions in the local area, including a good-sized shopping centre and many recreational facilities close by.

The better known towns of Reading, Ascot and Windsor are nearby and easily accessible. The South coast is just 1 hour away.

London is only 45 minutes away on the train

Remuneration details:



Allowance of £650 a month will be provided to assist with accommodation and subsistence costs.



This remuneration package is not negotiable under ANY circumstances.
