DLD is an international conference and participation platform from Hubert Burda Media. DLD Media hosts Europe´s leading digital conference, DLD, and the women´s conference, DLDwomen. DLD Ventures invests in internet growth companies, networks them with partners and accompanies them operationally. DLD currently has holdings in Glam Media, mydeco, ScienceBlogs and Sevenload. We are building up our staff and (to various starting dates for at least 3 months) are looking for

• Support of the core team in the concept, planning, organization and realization of DLD Events (DLD12, DLDglobal)
  
• Extensive research concerning potential speakers and panel topics 
• Supportive editorial work for the DLD website, updating it with the latest news and information
• Management and development of DLD's Social Media Outreach
• Support of various strategic projects
  
• Taking care of travel arrangements and accommodation as well as managing and supervising the arrival and departure of several dozen speakers
• Assist on corporate sponsoring matters for the DLD12 conference, including acquisition and integration of sponsors as well as development of marketing solutions

• Student in Business Administration / Marketing & Communication / Media Management / Event Management or the like
• Self-starter who works well in a fast paced environment and demonstrates initiative
• Fluent in English
• Up-to date on the latest internet / media trends
• Versed in various social networking tools
  
• Substantial organizational skills
• A team player with good interpersonal, communication and writing skills
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  
• First work experience in event or media management preferred
