Marketing Executive (French & Italian or Portugese)

Reporting to and working alongside the Directors and Marketing Manager – you will be responsible for researching the copper alloy market in Scandinavia and producing & implementing a results driven marketing plan. This will involve:

Researching size of market, specifically products & potential new markets.
Providing a breakdown of channels; i.e. manufacturers, stockists and end users (highlight potential end users for immediate action).
Build a database of all information gained for easy access/reporting, enabling company to analyse the statistics and provided future marketing direction.
Set targets for the company and report on progress.
Telemarketing, collating, analysing and reporting on information to ensure company increases business.
Collating, analysing and reporting on competitor activity.
Following up on sales enquiries and organise quotations.
Report on all activity daily, weekly and monthly.
Other general office duties as required. Hours of work: 8am to 5pm Mon-Thurs, 8am to 4pm Fri.

Essential requirements:

Fluent spoken and written English
2 or more additional languages – French, Italian & Portugese
Marketing undergraduate with knowledge of primary & secondary research techniques
Good overall business theory knowledge
Computer literate – Microsoft packages
Excellent communication skills
Hard working, ambitious, enjoys success, has integrity, good listener & quick to learn.

Desirable attributes:

Previous experience in a marketing position
Interest in metals

This is an exciting growing company who are expanding by product and by market. It is a very market orientated business with an excellent technical and management back up.

A leading manufacturer of bronze bar, tube and sections based in Stoke-on-Trent in the UK.

Company manufactures Phosphor Bronze, Leaded Bronze, Leaded Gunmetal, Aluminium Bronze (to BS, NES or ASTM specifications), Nickel Bronze and also customer specific alloys up to 12" diameter in any shape.

They use a continuous casting process by pouring molten metal through a water-cooled, shaped die in almost any two-dimensional profile, to make a solid or hollow bar.

This process allows them to produce bars which are dimensionally accurate and have improved properties and soundness relative to other casting processes.

The majority of their work is based on round bars in a solid or hollow form, however, the nature of the process means that they can manufacture bars with almost any profile

Can assist customers with the design and development of new sections to meet special requirements.

They also undertake cutting, machining, testing and fabrication.

At present are undergoing a new wrought product exercise which will add millions of pounds to our turnover.

Location:

Working in a new office environment, alongside a copper alloy foundry.

Remuneration details:

Free accommodation in Company owned flat (includes all utility, phone & internet bills) a training allowance of £400 per month will be provided to assist with subsistence costs. ( Approx. total package £700 per month)
